You Can Now Buy a Brick From Eminem’s Childhood Home

Sixteen years ago today, the world was blessed with The Marshall Mathers LP, an album that soundtracked countless teens’ angsty moments with tracks like “Stan” and “The Real Slim Shady.” To commemorate the landmark record’s anniversary, Eminem is reissuing the album with some unique pieces of merch: actual bricks from his childhood home.
The house in question should be familiar to Eminem fans, as it is featured in the cover art for both The Marshall Mathers LP and 2013’s The Marshall Mathers LP 2. The bricks were recently salvaged by the rapper when he learned that the house, formerly 19946 Dresden Street in Detroit, Michigan, was up for demolition. The structural memorabilia is only available in a set of 700, so he has added other anniversary items like a cassette-tape, dog tags and limited edition T-shirts.
The full set of Marshall Mathers LP Anniversary merch is available on Eminem’s online store.
In other music news, Beyoncé and Jay Z may be on the verge of dropping a joint album surprise.
